Isaiah 55:6-11

“Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon the Lord while he is near…”

I believe the Lord gives us several opportunities each day to serve him; at least that's the way it is in my life.  I first have to notice the opportunity, and then be willingly to respond to it.  Open yourself now to the Lord and ask God to open your eyes to the opportunities that are coming your way.

On 1/13/02012 10:38 AM, Pat said... It's so interesting to me that I can read and re-read various scripture, but then one day it really "sinks in" in a life-changing way! That is the what happened with the last verses of today's passage: It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

I think that means that God's Word ALWAYS produces fruit - but only if we open ourselves to His word and those many opportunities we have to serve Him!
