Thanks to our entire Church for supporting the Biggest Feed Our Kids Big Week ever! We had 148 volunteers that spent 1,305 hours serving 2,680 lunches! The word of the week was flexibility. When we couldn't use the FLC kitchen, we took our apples up the elevator to wash, and the Leach Hall kitchen worked out just fine. When we only had part of the FLC to make lunches, we adapted just fine. When we found out that lunch time was 30 minutes earlier than usual, we adjusted our schedules and our volunteers got lunches made quicker than ever. When there was road construction on every single street on the way to every single site, well we tried very hard to keep a smile on our faces. The sites were so fun to see: kickball games and matchbox cars and playdough and hula hoops and lots of lunches and lots of smiles. What an incredible Big Week! What an incredible Church! God IS Good! And if you missed the fun of Big Week, contact Sue Schultz 817-329-8362 or seg1024@yahoo.com)and you can help at our Grapevine Village with our GIANT MONTH going on for the next 4 weeks!

P.S.  Save the date: Feed Our Kids Big Week 2013 will be July 8-12. Come join the fun!
