We are richly blessed! God has entrusted many gifts to each of us, both financially and spiritually. We are called to be good stewards of these gifts by using them to further the Kingdom of God.
Use these tools to further your own personal stewardship, find out more about the ministries that First Church supports financially, and challenge yourself to give sacrificially to God's work.
Want to grow your giving? The following chart will help you see what more you can give!
Do you shop online at Macy's, Best Buy, Travelocity, Walgreen's, Barnes & Noble? The United Methodist Church, together with Zebraplace, has made available a micro-donation tool to all members as a secure way to develop new income streams for the church. There are about 500 stores partnered (including those listed above and many, many more!). To take part, all you have to do is either download the browser-app or shop through www.umcmarket.org
. Your purchases will automatically generate micro-donations to the church you choose every time you make a purchase. Once you create your account, make sure you join "Grapevine First"
in order to direct your donations here!
If you are a regular Amazon shopper, you'll be happy to know that the church can receive donations every time you make a purchase! When you shop, use the AmazonSmile link and designate your giving to go to First United Methodist Church Grapevine. A percent of each purchase will be given back to the church. We've already received a check of proceeds from purchases made by those of you who have already signed up! It's free and easy... click here to check it out!
