Iron Men
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." ~ Proverbs 27:17

The Men's Ministry at First Church provides a variety of opportunities for the men in our congregation to come together and enjoy Christian fellowship, discipleship, and mission.
As we grow, we are participating with other men in numerous worthwhile, fun, and faith-building activities. Our activities include an annual Golf Tournament in the Fall, Chili Bowl, Father/Child events, Fishing trips, Hunting trips, and service projects. Guest speakers, dinners, and Bible studies are held at various times throughout the year. |

Iron Men provides a variety of opportunities for the men in our congregation to come together and enjoy Christian fellowship, discipleship, and mission. The Iron Men provide funding for special programs and events put on by our Youth and Children’s Ministries. In addition, throughout the year we respond to needs within the church and community to provide funding for special projects, mission work and benevolence for families in need. In the past year we have helped renovate the kitchen, send kids to sports camp, provide DVDs for schools in Kenya, support our new Hispanic Ministries, and much more! Through your support of Iron Men, you are supporting a variety of ministries at First United Methodist Church.
