What a lovely evening we enjoyed at the January “Well” event. Caleb Hailey sang three beautiful songs: Testify To Love, Angels Among Us, and Temporary Home. Our guest speaker, Thelma Wells, treated us to a delightful discussion about how each of us has a purpose for being on this earth. We may not know exactly what that purpose is, but God is orchestrating things in our life so that we will be able to figure it out. She encouraged us to focus on what we really enjoy doing to help us find that purpose. Panera Bread provided a light dinner of broccoli cheese or potato soup, harvest apple salad and yummy chocolate brownies. Click here for the full photo album.
Guests who attended the November “Well” were treated to a wonderful evening of “Biblical Wisdom” from Dr. Cindy Ryan. Her wonderful humor allowed us to laugh and appreciate the challenges of growing older. Singer, Donna Kay inspired us with uplifting music from her album as we enjoyed picnic lunches from Panera Bread. If you have never attended one of our events, January will be a great time to start as Thelma Wells will be our guest speaker. Click here to view the full photo album.

Pam Farrel blessed the women of The Well last Thursday with a funny yet thought provoking message about making the most out of the seasons of your life. "Choosing Joy" is an alternative to living under the circumstances. Girlfriends visited with girlfriends and new ladies met new friends. We were pleased to have tables filled with our Heritage Sisters, new members and the Just Us Sunday School Class. Be sure to come back! Food, music and fellowship - that is what The Well is about for women. Save Thursday, November 11, to enjoy the next gathering with Dr. Cindy Ryan and recording artist Donna Kay.
Last Thursday, the Family Life Center was transformed into a "Well of Hospitality"! Fine china and crystal sparkled while 230 ladies smiled and chatted. Two young adults sang and blessed the attendants. Seventeen men served and washed dishes and made the evening special. The salad trio was delicious. Tammy Maltby and her assistant Joyce and Well committee member Wendy Merrill chopped and cooked and displayed yummy treats for future events. Tammy reminded us that hospitality can be in our own individual style - simple or extravagant - but that hospitality should be practiced by God's people to further His kingdom. Enjoy the pictures and invite a friend over for a cookie, a home baked lasagna, or a baked brie. Start simply, but please simply start! Also invite that friend to the next Well in September!
