Do you ever wonder what happens to the beautiful flower arrangements that grace the altars on Sunday mornings? The flowers would go to waste if not for the Altar Flower Delivery Ministry. The flowers arrangements are broken apart into smaller arrangements and distributed to those who are ill or home-bound. Interested in volunteering with this ministry? Contact Jenny Love (817-875-8472).
Our Angel Food Ministry offers support through the preparation and delivery of a meal to households experiencing illness, complicated pregnancies, birth, loss, or similar challenges. A large team shares in this Caring Ministry. If you can provide or deliver food occasionally, please contact the church office, 817-481-2559.
Do you have an extra seat in your vehicle on Sunday mornings or during the week? There are members of our church that would love to come worship with us, but are not able to drive themselves. We also have members that occasionally need a ride to medical appointments. If you would be willing to offer a ride to one of these individuals, sign up for Angel Wings.
Visit homebound members in their homes to serve the communion elements to them.
Campus Angels is a Caring Ministry which seeks to maintain contact with our college-age members through e-mail and other supportive contact. If you would be interested in being a link to Christ’s church for someone in the critical college years, please contact the church office at 817.481.2559.
If you are a college student or the parent of a college student, please phone the office with such information as school, e-mail address, postal address, or phone number, or the information you currently have.
The Career Transition Ministry is a network of persons who provide those in career transition with assistance with areas like resume writing, interviewing skills, employment resources, etc. while also offering spiritual support. Call the church office (817-481-2559) if you are in need of assistance with a career transition.
The Dream Team assists special needs children, youth and vulnerable adults each Sunday so that the parents/families can attend church service/Sunday school. Dream Makers is a support group for families who care for those with special needs. Click here for more information...
Families Anonymous is a group of concerned relatives and friends who have faced up to the reality that the problems of someone close to them is adversely affecting the lives of others. Anyone whose life has been adversely affected by another person's use of drugs, alcohol, or other behavioral problems is welcome. Meets Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Heritage House. Contacts: Cathy and Craig Morris, 817 -498-4901
The Health Ministry helps educate people on the relationship between spirituality and wellness. We provide resources to keep members of the church and surrounding community well, both physically and spiritually. Our focus is on the three levels of prevention: primary (promoting wellness), secondary (early detection and intervention) and tertiary (rehabilitation). Click here for more information...
Our Prayer Team prays regularly for individual needs and our congregation’s life and work. Throughout the week, team members pray privately for requests received by the church. The team meets monthly to connect, share, consider future programming and pray together. Click here for more information...
When was the last time someone really listened to you? We're talking about that undistracted, full attention kind of listening. That's one of the ways Stephen Ministers care for others... Click here for more information...
