Prayer Ministries

Our Prayer Team prays regularly for individual needs and our congregation’s life and work. Throughout the week, team members pray privately for requests received by the church. The team meets monthly to connect, share, consider future programming and pray together.

You may fill out a prayer request card in the pew on Sunday and place it in the offering plate, or contact Cheri Rutledge in the church office, 817.481.2559, ext. 110. Please indicate whether your request should be added to the prayer list in the Sunday bulletin or be kept confidential by the team and clergy.

National Day of Prayer
Please join us at the fountain on Thursday, May 6, for the 59th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer. We will meet at the fountain in front of the Downtown Sanctuary (facing Scribner Street) at three times throughout the day: 7:00 AM, 12:00 noon and 6:00 PM. We will pray and recall the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call to us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people.

Current prayer requests for the church:

• Pray for those who live within the Ministry Mile - a one-mile radius of the church.
• Pray for the Children/Youth, Grapevine, Costa Rica and Kenya Villages.
• Pray for those whose jobs are uncertain.
• Lift up the names on the Prayer List in the Sunday bulletin each week.

Please join us for the next Prayer Team Meeting: Second Sunday of each month at 4:00 PM in Room 2010.
This is an opportunity to gather together for prayer and fellowship. We welcome your presence whether you are a current member of this ministry or just interested in learning more about what we do. This is such an important ministry. We hope to see you there!

We will also have a brief prayer gathering on the third Sunday of each month 8:15 to 8:45 AM in Room 2002. During this time we will pray for our pastors and the ministries of our church.
