If you have a passion for sewing, knitting, quilting or crocheting, then share it! Stitch-A-Wish benefits children who are sick or terminally ill at Cook’s Children’s Hospital by providing hand made items of all kinds - from booties to pillow cases to quilts. The work can be done at home at your own pace, and the completed items can be brought to the church. If you or someone you know might be interested in participating, contact Kathy Langham (817-329-5144). We can also use fabric or yarn, so if you have some laying around the house that you could donate, please let Kathy know. NOTE: Due to the many respiratory illnesses or allergies that some of our patients have, we ask that items be sewn in ; smoke-free environment by individuals that do not smoke and that pets do not come into contact with the fabrics.
