2007 Year-End Report
I It has been an incredible year of ministry and you, our Partners in Ministry, have played a vital role in making this happen. We want you to know how very grateful we are to everyone for your daily prayers, your faithful financial support and your ministry with us.

• Thank you to the over 400 VIM team members who spent up to a year raising their financial support to come to Costa Rica and help us begin the Children's Worship Center in Puerto Viejo.
• We thought the kitchen at the Methodist Church in Los Guidos may have to close due to lack of funding. There was no way to express the tremendous joy we felt as we watched the children line up for their meal after several of our Partners in Ministry came to the rescue!
• The children in Los Guidos as well as the children at a new church plant near the Nicaraguan border and many of the children at the state run orphanage all received new "Jesus Loves Me" blankets from several of our supporting churches.
• Three seminary students were the recipients of one-year scholarships this year. Not only did you pay for their tuition, many of you provided the seminary with library books for the main campus and "Disciple" and "Companions in Christ" books for the regional seminaries.
• During the past seven years you have helped to plant 12 new congregations in the Puerto Viejo area. Your spreading of the gospel through Bible Schools, eye clinics, puppet shows, and hours of interacting with the people of Costa Rica has resulted in over 800 new church members.
• Last year, we received approval to begin a Methodist Orphanage. We've spent the year gathering information and have found six acres of land about 20 minutes from the Methodist school. There will be three homes for children, a home for seniors, and an office and multi-purpose building. Please pray for: money to purchase the land, work teams to build the homes, house parents for the children, health care providers for the seniors, and workers to staff the office and grounds.
