Safe Sanctuaries
In
the United Methodist Church, we strive to provide safe, caring
environments for children, youth and the adults who work with
them. As a result, each church is encouraged to have a Safe
Sanctuaries policy in place.
Each adult volunteer is required to attend a Safe
Sanctuaries training session before they are allowed to volunteer in
areas of the church that serve children and youth.
Safe Sanctuaries training is the first Wednesday of each month:
10:00-11:00 AM in Room 2002
or
6:30-7:30 PM in Room 2010
RSVP to Nathan Firmin. NOTE: If no one RSVPs, the class will be cancelled. If you need childcare, please contact Cindy Baldwin.
