Welcome Team

The Welcome Team consists of Ushers, Greeters and Welcome Center Hosts. Our purpose is to extend a friendly welcome to guests and members as they come for worship on Sunday mornings.

Ushers
Arrive 20 minutes before worship begins. Hand out worship bulletins to those entering the sanctuary for morning worship. Assist visitors and guests to find seats. Assist late arrivers to vacant seats. Collect the offering. Assist the Head Usher in bagging registration forms and offering in official secure location. Ushers may serve more than one service a Sunday, or more than once a month.

Greeters
Arrive and be in place 20 minutes before worship begins. Greet as many people as possible that have come to attend worship. Direct known first-time visitors and guests to an Usher or to the Welcome Center. Greeters may greet at more than one service each Sunday, or during the month.

Welcome Center Host
Welcome Center volunteers answer questions about basic church activities and class locations (brochures and maps provided). You will also hand out gift bags to first-time guests/visitors and assist individuals who may wish to place a DVD or CD order. We ask that you be able to be in place 20 minutes before worship begins and for 20 minutes after worship ends.
